With over 35 years in construction and facilities maintenance, Barry has consulted on high performance building and LEED® and BREEAM® services, and provided operations efficiency training, energy audits, and carbon footprint analysis, to government agencies, major commercial and institutional projects. As one of the founding members of the LEED-EB Core Committee, Barry has assisted the USGBC’s education department in developing the LEED-EB training workshop that debuted in late 2003. A Senior LEED-EB Faculty®, he has delivered all aspects of the workshop to over 5,000 individuals. With his deep experience across the entire building lifecycle as an engineer, general contractor, systems operator and facilities supervisor, Barry recognizes the realities of building design, construction and operations.

With an extensive background in real estate and business consultation services, as well as financial management, Bruce’s professional successes have yielded handsome returns for investors, and a reputation as a highly effective project team, business, and relationship manager. From directing business and financial planning efforts within a large multinational corporation, actively participating in strategic and planning forums to affect change and improvement of method and process, Bruce continued to further develop his skill set, becoming a highly talented interior, architectural, and conceptual designer. At BuildingWise, Bruce oversees the whole of the strategic, operational, relationship, financial and managerial aspects of this dynamic and growing company.

A LEED® AP since 2005, Jordan has over 10 years of experience in the built environment, managing LEED for Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance certification on major projects for some of the world’s most notable companies. In addition to managing LEED certifications, Jordan understands commercial construction and industrial power systems, having managed regional construction projects, as well as previously working for the largest installer of solar electric systems in the United States. Jordan recently made a documentary film titled “Cash for Trash: The Case for Deconstruction” which covers principles and practices for performing deconstruction and reuse, as well as ways to include salvaged building materials in design.

A LEED® AP with a Masters in Business Administration, as well as a Masters Degree in Environmental Policy, Max also has earned a certificate in Planning and Managing Projects from IPS Associates. With over a decade of experience managing multi-million dollar projects and multicultural teams, Max combines his extensive project management abilities with his environmental and business expertise to manage complex LEED certifications, analyze the greenhouse gas emissions of clients, and design sustainability initiatives with strong financial returns on investment. Max has published green building research in the Woodrow Wilson Center’s China Environment Series and is the research director and cco-producer of the Green Dragon Media Project, exploring opportunities for accelerating the Chinese green building movement: www.greendragonfilm.com.
